DAY 4……WERE OFF ON THE ROAD TO MIHAILOVKA
It’s Sunday and the sun is shinning, although the weather is a bit nippy. We left Volgograd around 2pm our time, and arrived in Mihailovka (this is where the baby home is) around 6. We had so much stuff to donate to the children’s home that we actually had to take a mini bus there. I napped for about an hour and a half, or so they say. Along with Martha and myself were Elena (our coordinator) and Natasha (our translator). The sun rises late (around 8:30) and sets early (around 4:30). We have a nice apartment size room, but thee TV sucks, and no internet connection (which is why these next couple of posts are late). Well tomorrow is the big day we finally get to see the boys. Hopefully they will still have some memory of us. And if we get lucky the Ministry of Education will sign off on our papers so we can obtain a court date. Da svidanya! (Goodbye in Russian).
