DAY 23...WERE ON OUR WAY HOME

Well we are finally all done. The embassy here in Moscow was a piece of cake we were in and out in an hour. I can't believe how many people were there waiting for their paper work like us. There had to be at least 3 dozen families who were adopting from all areas of Russia. Almost all of them were from the US. Most seemed to be from the south and CA. So their flight home will be even longer then ours. Nobody else was from NY, but we did find out a lot of the got their 10 day waiting period waived. Doesn't look like the two incidents in the US are effecting the process here much at all. The weather has also warmed up here a lot and a lot of the snow is melting, making for sloppy conditions and more slow roads. Oh and as a side note to yesterdays blog we found out the reason Aeroflots flight out of Volgograd was delayed. It was because there was no plane there. Imagine that, we weren't even waiting on a delay, we were waiting on a plane. So now our return flight is changed and after some serious packing tonight we'll be on our way home tomorrow. Looking forward to see everybody. HAPPY AND HEALTH NEW YEAR
